Individual Sessions

When Bonnie Kissam meets with you, she asks you what you like to do, what you can do easily, and what you’d like to do better. She observes you, looks at how you move and notices what parts are moving easily and which parts don’t move. She notices without judging. Her job is to help amplify what you notice as you move, and to help you become more aware of elements of movement that you now do unconsciously.

In individual lessons with Bonnie, she will have you sit, stand against a wall, or lie down on a table to help quiet your tension patterns. Then, through touch, or questions, she helps heighten your awareness of your ‘skeleton moving’…. with ease. Once you have this sensory/awareness experience, you will begin to sense differences when you go back to your normal actions. This will then continue to revive your natural coordination, which you may have lost due to age, disease, overuse or accidents.

Bonnie Kissam works with those who are out of a natural balance and movement flow. She works with people who fear falling or who would like to maintain or improve mobility, as well as those with neurological challenges and athletes who have been injured or want to improve their performance.
