What you can expect

• For those of you who can respect the Zen  of ‘doing less to do more’, being asked to move slowly and attend, in detail, to your actions would not be a foreign idea.

• For those of you who are involved in a sport and can value the transference of ‘working out’ in the gym to improving your game,  the idea of taking you ‘out of your sport’ to clarify your actions would not be a  foreign idea either.

Therefore, to take you out of your sport and have you lie down and do nothing but notice the sensations of an action might not be as big a leap as you might think.

Doing nothing but sensing the movement flow in an illuminated way helps the necessary fine tuning that takes you to the next level of a sport or improves your basic functioning ability. This is as true for rehabilitation as it is for an athlete improving her or his skill level.

Typical exercise improves strength while ‘learning how’ improves one's skill.

Entering into the steps of The Feldenkrais Method helps bring to those who have lost their natural gift of coordination from disease, injury, or age, a way to regain it without effort.

For those who feel as though they have never had a flow of coordination, they may feel it for the first time.

The cost is simply the time to let it happen and divesting yourself of the need for control.  The cost is in taking the time to move without judgement or the need to achieve.

Bonnie works to create an environment that helps people re-discover their ‘kinesthetic sense’ … for pleasure, learning and optimal actions.
